I've just checked with a remote win machine which has 16 cores and it takes 2
minutes to sort descending without the fixing patch

Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)
Build ID: b3c8859cd20bd02adea5d2b026001f67feacc754
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I'm wondering if we are following the same steps:
1. Open the attached document
2. Click on top of column A -> A1:A1048576 is selected
3. Data - Sort Descending - Current Selection.

is that correct ?
