could you please retest, i followed the steps from c#28, exactly, win7x64 SP1,
new installed Opera 69.0, LiBo ver. see below: 

could copy 4 headlines as unformatted text without any problem, stopped the
test (not by fail), copy content e.g. 'Best of Informationsfreiheit:
Kernbereich exekutiver Eigenverantwortung', 

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 006c65bbd472cb1d7d44e095714e28190b76be0d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render:
Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

can't say which of our LiBo ver. is older - as the ver.-description lacks a
date and build-ID's aren't sequential, :-(  (enhancement request) - but they
are different ... mine was downloaded 2020-06-25 ~16:30 h MEST, if you can tell
me your download time or provide a link i'll try to get it and do a cross test
...
