Me in opportunistic mood : 
* As you're in the area anyhow for bug 134270 
* It's a ui thing, and probably/ hopefully "easy" to solve (for people who know
where too look)
* Autofilter search being a part of the release notes already (speed
improvement), but it still hard to use with this flaw around. So bit of bummer,
as far i'm concerned.
