Bug ID: 131074
Summary: Very difficult to put a Math Fórmula in a impress
slide - and impossible resize the formula with mouse
after I Got it
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.4.0.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Formula Editor
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: willian.tomazi at gmail.com
Description:
I was trying to use libreoffice to edit a powerpoint made presentation, because
The math formula was not being visualized, so I tried to insert them using
"insert / object / formula".
But when I finally got the formula to be inserted the color was messed with the
background and i found it very difficult to change the color (it is not so
intuitive and i could not found it), and resize the formula with the mouse was
impossible.
When I tried to resize the formula by clicking with 'right mouse button' /
'position and size', i finnaly got it, but font was scaled together with the
box.
So it is not working like expected, at least the resizing with the mouse i
think could be a bug.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click insert/ object / formula
2. insert a formula
3. In impress, try to resize it with the mouse.
Actual Results:
It was impossible to resize the box
Expected Results:
It should be easy to resize the box, and not only that, it should be easy to
format another aspects of the formula, like color, font, size, etc.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I really appreciate LibreOffice and I want to contribute with it. Thankyou for
this amazing software
