            Bug ID: 131130
Summary: SLIDESHOW: Images cropped or missing during slideshow
                    presentation
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: gersonfjunior at yahoo.com.br

Description:
It's a bug that follows me for years... maybe 10 years. It doesn't happen every
time, but often when I try to use Impress to give a talk some images are either
missing or cropped during the presentation, while they are perfectly ok on edit
mode.

When it happens, I simply close Impress and open it again. Press F5 to start
the presentation and the images are back. But it is a pain.

I've been getting around this issue by using the extension "ExpandAnimations"
to save it all as PDF. But I would like to see this bug fixed, so I could use
Impress directly instead.

It seems that I'm the only one complaining about this. But I'm aware of
colegues and students that save to PDF to avoid this issue. So I wonder if
everybody is applying a PDF workaround scheme instead of reporting the bug.

BTW... as a suggestion, the ExpandAnimations extension would be great as a
native feature!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Prepare a presentation with images and transitions
2. Start the presentation
3. Check if the images are ok
4. Stop and try again... the bug appears occasionally.

Actual Results:
some times the images are missing or cropped

Expected Results:
the images should be there perfectly

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I didn't check for the OpenGL. I'll try... but since the bug only appears
occasionally, I'll have to test it for a long time to be sure it solves the
problem.

In any case, if OpenGL is the culprit... it is still a bug.
