I can decribe it as so::

I am german, my typical national date format is dd, mm, jj or jjjj.

I can format any date in the cells to be displayed correctly as i ever want.
(for example "FR, 04 january ..." )

If i click on the cell, the cells display is NOT altered in any way,
BUT in  the "Eingabezeile" which might be "INPUTLINE" on top of the sheet

the selected cell is displayed in the "different" format "dd.mm.jjjj",
which might be the default format for my localised LO version.

WHEN i doubleclick the cell, the format ALTERS to the same format of the
INPUTLINE.

Dates displayed in the DOUBLECLICKED CELL (edit mode ?)
as well in the "EingabeZeile" / "Inputline"

seems to be displayed WITHOUT any formatting.

I DONT BELIEVE THIS EVER SHOULD GET ANY BUG STATUS at all.
