This would make it more consistent with MS Powerpoint which already has this!
(from ppt 2010)

See this quote from MS Forums:
I've created a presentation in PowerPoint with a 'Push Left' transition between
all slides.

This looks great - until you view it in Slide Show and hit the back button. 
The transition remains as 'Push Left' although the slide content changes to the
previous content.  As a user this is very confusing.

This is no longer necessary with PowerPoint 2010.  All the transitions support
backward/forward appropriately.
