            Bug ID: 131734
Summary: libreoffice attempts to recover read-only documents
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.1.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: marco at hulten.org

When I open a document with 'libreoffice --view', no .~lock.* file is created,
as expected. When I then send a KILL signal to libreoffice, still no files
there. When I then open the document, a recovery window pops up.

I don't understand why this happens. If a document is opened in viewer mode,
recovery mode is not sensible, I think.

(Rationale for killing the window: I only use LibreOffice in read-only mode
akin to how one would use a PDF viewer, and there is no shortkey to close a
document—Ctrl-Q closes all documents.)
