I can confirm this.

If I select text in Writer, select Print, and select print selection checbox it
will be broken.

However, there is a workaround: It's actually unecessary to select the "Print
selection" chechbox, as that is already taken into account!

Comment #8 actually refers to another bug, in that the page numbers are broken
from this workaround - it shows the last page of the document

The Print Dialog on a 13" Mac is also too high, even when I have the Dock on
the right hand side
