Hi, I guess that there is a wrong setting in your LibreOffice or your document.
Therefore please tell some more about your language specific environment.
1) You have a German Windows?
2) You have a German keyboard layout?
3) In LibreOffice go to menu Extras > Optionen > Spracheinstellungen > Sprachen
and tell the settings in
3a) Benutzeroberfläche
3b) Gebietsschema
3c) Standardsprachen der Dokumente Westlich
3d) Sytemsprache ignorieren

4) Does "from itself to English" mean, that a new paragraph will be in English,
but the previous paragraph is in German?

Please attach a small dummy document, where you notice the problem.
