Bug ID: 132937
Summary: Export to PDF: White text appear with color outline;
applies to LibO Writer and LibO Calc
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.8.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Printing and PDF export
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

White (and other light colors) sample text with no desired color outline.
LibO side:
1. A LibO Writer or LibO Calc document with white (or other light color) text.
2. Export to PDF (no selected boxes in PDF Options, General tab, General area).
Next four steps with Adobe Acrobat Reader X:
3. Open whatever file [could be the same of step 2].
4. Close that file (Ctrl+W or Ctrl+F4) [do not close Acrobat Reader].
5. Open the file of step 2. White text appear with a color outline.
6. This outline disappear while zooming to 600% or more.
Environment:
• LibreOffice 5.4.7.2 x86 (over Windows XP 32-bit);
• LibreOffice 6.2.8.2 x86 (over Windows 10 Home 32-bit);
• LibreOffice 6.3.6.2 x86 (over Windows 7 Professional 32-bit);
(both from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/)
• [UI] language: Español (España);
• Document language: Español (Argentina);
Whether flowing text or text box in LibO Writer make no difference.
It seen (to me) not to be Adobe Acrobat Reader X fault, because the issue do
not happen when…
• Export as PDF/A
• Open in Adobe Reader 11.0.0 (over Windows 7 Professional);
• Open in Adobe Reader 11.0.1 (over Windows XP);
• Open in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (over Windows 10 Home);
• Open in Google PDF Viewer over Android phone;
• Open in Mozilla Firefox 75.0 (over Windows 7 Professional);
• Export to PDF with LibO Impress or LibO Draw;
• Print to PDF (with PDFCreator 2.1);
• Export to PDF from Word 365.
Thanks for your great job! I enjoy LibreOffice every day, and pass the word.
