PDF reader version: Foxit reader 2.4.4.0911 (AMD64)

Solved:
Problem resolved when upgrading to LibreOffice 6.4.3.2 as you suggested,
copy-paste is no longer stuck, can copy from PDF reader after copying from
Writer. Will try first to reproduce in an updated version next time I report a
bug (although I wanted to stay in the enterprise release).
