This is on a home network connection and the only firewall is the Network
Address Translation (NAT) type. There are no other rules. There is no proxy
server.

I'll try one of the older releases. I think I still have the 6.3.5 installer on
my PC as well.

If the 6.3 line is at the end of it's life, I'm happy to move up to 6.4.x and
see if it happens with the next release of that one as well. It seems pointless
to chase this down if it only affects 6.3 and earlier.

I will try the earlier versions an upload results as screenshots.
