And I have a strong suspicion is that the error being thrown is
ERRCODE_IO_NOTEXISTS (error message matches) —

Forgot to mention that the number of times a pop-up shows up seems to depend on
the PDF file size (on smaller PDF file like
http://africau.edu/images/default/sample.pdf, I only got it twice).
