--- Comment #4 from jonathon <toki.kantoor at gmail.com> ---
ODT2Braille.oxt was part of a project designed to explore third generation
accessibility. The project started in 2008, with a lifetime of 48 months.

It is licensed under the GNU LGPL 3.0 license.
Source code is a combination of C, Java, XSL.

The last version release was in 2014-06-29, which was a snapshot, not for
production release.
The last code change was made in 2013-05-21

Due to the vast changes in LibO since ODT2Braille was abandoned, it probably
would be easier to rewrite it from scratch.

#####

The OST2Braille extension attempts to solve four basic issues:

* Conversion of the writing system to Braille;
* Reformatting the presentation markup to one of the various Braille
presentation markup standards;
* Send output to Braille printers;
* Save output in various Braille text formats;
