I have encountered this issue, and managed to find this bug report.

We are also using a custom header, with font formatting (grey text), results in
the following:

627D77some_text 

I am guessing the numbers represent text color, and 000000 are for black as is
in the original bug description. Our example shows 627D77 for grey color.
