Bug ID: 138404
Summary: LO base: problems on defining "0" (zero) and "NULL"
as "default" values in control fields
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha1+
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rich.libre at demattio.co.at
Description:
>Spinoff from ticket bug_138387
definition of "default" value in controlfields:
a.) if you would like to have "0" (zero) as default value,
you first have to define for example "1" and then change to zero.
If you try to enter "0" directly, it is interpreted as "empty" (NULL?)
b.) the other way round is also a problem:
it is not possible to change the default value to empty/NULL.
You have to delete the control and add it from scratch
Steps to Reproduce:
1. self explaining
2.
3.
Actual Results:
in numeric control fields you can not define "0" (zero) directly.
You have to define i.e. "1" first and can define "0" then.
Once you have defined a "non NULL" default value, it is not possible to set the
default to "NULL" again. Can be necessary, if the table behind itself has rules
for defaults.
Actually this is only possible by deleting the control field and recreate it.
Expected Results:
Mainly resetting to NULL should be possible
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
