It's relevant for all modules, see also bug 137837. Most users struggle with
not visible objects but some may use it to hide a number of objects by not
naming them. And the idea was to keep the function but switch its default. I
would expect to not see any "<Shape|PolyLine|etc> 1..n" object when the option
is off.
