In new and old documents every time I open the document in LO 7 Writer I have
to reset the Compatibility options for the story as the 'Use printer metrics
for document formatting' keeps being reset by the system to be applied and this
causes the whole document to re-paginate by pushing lines over to the next
page. It matters not how many times I deselect the option and save the file or
save the 'Use as Default' option, the next time I open the file I have to reset
that option to return the document to the way it should be as it has been
reapplied by the system. This was not a problem with LO 6, so I don't know why
it's happening in LO 7. It means every time I work on a file I have to open the
Tools - Options - LibreOffice Writer - Compatibility and change the setting.
This is extremely annoying. I do NOT have a printer installed, so I've no idea
what or where the system is drawing the metrics from, thus I can't adjust those
settings as a work around. After a long spell away from the computer I'm now
revising a lot of my work using LO 7 while the last time I did a lot of work I
was using LO 6.

Using LO 7.0.2.2 in latest updated version of Zorin Linux with Nvidia GeForce
GTX 1660 Ti graphics card using Nvidia driver 450.80.02 displaying on a 4
monitors, all of which are AOC 4K monitors. System is AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core
CPU with 64 GB RAM. Help info below:
