Bug ID: 138574
Summary: Edit Series in graph (calc) does not change point
which has a single data label
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: anicesteak at gmail.com
Description:
I have a graph with a few series. I have single data labels set up
intermittently on the lines (so I can quantify how the series change over
time).
I reduced the symbol size as some of the lines were crossing and it made them
hard to distingush. I noticed that when I did Edit Series and changed the
symbol size, the points associated with the Single Data Labels did not change.
Attached screenshot demonstrates this. I reduced the size of the symbol on the
dark blue but the data points with the single data labels did not change size.
I changed the symbol for the cyan series, but the points with the single data
data labels did not change.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a graph
2. select a series and then a single data point and use Insert a Single data
Label
3. Select the series again, and use Edit Series to change the symbol size or
shape or something.
4. Note that the symbols for the data points with labels are unchanged
Actual Results:
data points that have single data labels are unchanged -- they did not take on
the modified series values
Expected Results:
expect all data points in the series to take on the new format of the data
points
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
