Thank you for the detailed response. I think we misunderstand each other.

too complicated for normal users, like my grandparents, parents or non-computer
wizards. So, this report is a *feature request* to provide an *easy* way to set
a default font for a document.
I normally have the defaults, but one organization has a corporate style guide
requiring one font. Now, creating a document for that organization, and before
distributing it, I’d like to set the font required by the style guide as the
font for *only* that document.
It’s possible in principle, as the default font for LibreOffice Writer can be
changed in the options. That font is correctly set up for a document. Now, I’d
like to have a way to do just that for one document without having to create a
dedicated template or changing all styles.
