I believe Impress suffers from a similar issue. When trying to convert the
attached PPTX to PDF, the arrow is generated as a square. When installing the
ttf-mscorefonts-installer, it actually puts in a moon character.

OS: Ubuntu 18.04
LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 00(Build:2)
