Hi

I've uploaded the files.

If you open the calc spreadsheet there is a defined database range at
$A$1:$O$14

This is not a normal range as created by Insert->Named Range or Expression and
does not appear in the navigator.

The option Data->Pivot table->Insert or Edit gives a dialog with three choices
one of which is Named Range - this option is greyed out even though a database
range exists
