Yes the one you're mentioning is at least a linked problem, since it appeared
in rel. 7 and concerns scalable special characters.
Hope this can be solved soon, at the moment as a workaround I have to copy each
formula in writer, then paste special it back in a bitmap format, while keeping
the original formula in the empty space surrounding the slide for future
editing. It is a really burdensome way to work...
