i remember some clue from @erAck? on another issue: 

'*.xlsx doesn't store the filtering situation, but only the outfiltered rows as
hidden', or similar, 

that applies here, if you open the filter dropdown on the reloaded sheet all
items are checked, but the formerly outfiltered rows are hidden, 

as ex$el itself can do better - tested 2010 - i'd say 'weakness of xlsx
implementation in calc' ...
