Repro in W7 with LO master 7.1+. I used XLS database. 
I had 2426 individual files and stop.
I'll set to Low because it's possible to generate single PDF and split all in
some PDF tool. 
Further tests could be done, like with OO 3.3 to see if this is a regression.
