Documentation is not explicit,
https://help.libreoffice.org/7.1/en-US/text/scalc/01/07080000.html and
https://help.libreoffice.org/7.1/en-US/text/scalc/guide/line_fix.html but more
inclines that this should be used interchangeably. 
So this is enhancement request, low priority. 

I tried MSO, it also cancels Split after Freeze.
