Bug ID: 136547
Summary: Impress 7.0 won't play embedded video's when Skia is
enabled
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.0.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: graphics stack
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: willemfranssen at planet.nl
Description:
System: Windows 10 2004 64 bit, LibreOffice 7.0.1, my desktop pc with AMD
Radeon R7-240 dedicated graphics card. Skia rendering enabled. When I play an
Impress presentation with animated transitions and sound, and several embedded
video's (mp4) the following occurs:
1. Video's don't play, no animated transitions but only sound, when
rightclicking in a dia the context menu (backward, forward, go to dia, end
presentation) doesn't pop up, but black screen appears. Impress can only be
closed by Task Manager Windows. No error messages in LO or Windows logs.
2. After disabling Skia and enabling Hardware acceleration the same
presentation plays flawlessly on this desktop.
3. The same presentation plays fluently on my laptop Windows 10 2004 64 bit)
with AMD graphics on board and Skia enabled.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open presentation with embedded video's and animated transitions with sound
2.Skia rendering enabled
3.Play presentation. Click mouse for next dia. Rightclick in a dia
4.Play again with Skia disabled and Hardware acceleration enabled
Actual Results:
Embedded video's dont't play, transitions without animations. Context menu
won't pop up. Black screen. With Skia enabled.
Expected Results:
Playing presentation without these flaws with Skia enabled.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
