Bug ID: 136860
Summary: Mendeley extensions fails to introduce new citation
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.1.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: jgelcon at yahoo.com.ar
Description:
When trying to add a new citation, the extension crashes while "formatting
ctation", and gives the following error message:
Error: Se ha producido una excepción
Type: com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException
Message: SwXReferenceMark::InsertRefMark(): cannot insert attribute.
At line: 938
At the moment, no new citations can be added, nor can I modify the ones already
present. It might be caused by references which have been modified on Mendeley
library, but I try to delete those references and add them again and the
extension keeps crashing.
It seems that deleting the bibliography list and creating it again fixes the
problem (at least once).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert citations with Mendeley extension. Save and close the file.
2. Modify reference on Mendeley.
3. Open again the file and try to add new citation or modify existing one.
4. Delete bibliography list.
5. Repeat 1-3.
Actual Results:
Error: Se ha producido una excepción
Type: com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException
Message: SwXReferenceMark::InsertRefMark(): cannot insert attribute.
At line: 938
And instead of reference, shows "Formatting citation"
Expected Results:
Correct citation (f.i., Jones et al 2020)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No

[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]

Module: TextDocument

OS is 64bit: yes
