We have many elaborated levels of security but none for Internet connection.
That's not only the hyperlink but also external sources, linked objects, or
wget/curl calls (update checker, extensions picker come in mind). So it might
be a good idea to have a global switch. Whether it makes sense to check all
connections is more a dev question.
