Sorry, but it's just getting worse. It depends a bit on which panel I bring up.
"Style Inspector" is the most extreme, taking up more than half of the screen
and can't be made any smaller. See attached screen shot.

I also tried in "safe mode" and resetting my user profile. Didn't help.
