No repro in Windows with EB installed from that link (not variable). 
In Linux Mint I installed via Synaptic package manager and I didn't have "EB
Garamond" but 08 and 12, so text was with replaced fonts. It was old. 
Then in Mint I installed from that link and no repro. I printed to PDF. 
So, this is not a general bug. 
Please try to find out yourself what is the problem. If you printed to printer,
try with PDF. 
You should try with daily master from LO website.
