Chart failure to update when source data is changed has been an issue for as
long as I can remember. I'm not sure if it preceded LibreOffice fork. Issue
exists on Windows. Don't recall if also existed on Ubuntu Linux.

It does not matter if there is only one sheet and one chart or multiple sheets
with multiple charts or charts on the same sheet or on separate sheets.

What I have found is that selecting the sheet for edit shows the updated data,
but cancelling the edit reverts back to the old image.

If the chart image is selected and moved with an arrow key, the image updates
and remains if the chart position is restored with the inverse key. [Can't
recall if mouse move & restore works as well.]

In one folder, I have 205 .ODS files with charts and all exhibit the behavior.
Some are more than a decade old and some a week. Some are a few KB and some are
multi MB.

I have not found the problem Standby related as I have Workbooks loaded daily
by scripts and the desktop machine is ON.

My guess is the chart is updated, but the image rendered doesn't get the
message.
