Bug ID: 143658
Summary: Adding a toggle button to switch dark/light theme in
the top toolbar
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice

Description:
Hello, thank you for the development of libreoffice
I like to adapt my screen to the time of the day, for now I use this trick:
https://www.debugpoint.com/2020/01/how-to-enable-dark-mode-libreoffice/
Could we have a switch button to toggle dark/light theme and document colors
more easily in the main view, maybe in the top right? An option to automate
this behavior according to the system hour would be perfect too.
I consider this not just as a cosmetic option, it can have a net positive
impact on the health of the users. My request is motivated by a friend of mine
who ask me recently how to do it in libreoffice after I install darkreader in
his browser.
Thank you in advance, best
