Thank you for trying guys.  It definitely still happens to me, so presumably
there's something up with my system.  But, as I don't get it with any other
program, there must be a good chance that it's LO related, I suppose.

Is there anything I can do while the hang is happening to try and get some
information about what's going on?  I know about the existence of Spindump, for
instance, but is that what I should use?
