Bug ID: 143776
Summary: Line spacing not correct in some documents for a
particular font
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0 all versions
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: ks at schaeffer-ag.de
Description:
I have a lot of documents created mostly with OpenOffice which uses "Neue
Helvetica" as a font. When I open these documents in LibreOffice the line
spacing is too small (in OpenOffice it's fine). Fun fact: when I create a new
plain document with LibreOffice and start using this font, all is fine.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just open the attached file "HelveticaNeuNotOK.odt"
Actual Results:
The line spacing in this file is too small.
Expected Results:
The line spacing should look like in the file "HelveticaNeuOK.odt"
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
I estimated the Version. It's a problem I have for many years now and prevented
me from switching fully to LibreOffice so far (what is a pity). The last
version I tested is 6.4.7.2.
There is probably also the font needed to see it. I am willing to give someone
the font file. But since there is a copyright on it I don't want to upload it
as a public attachment.
