The term section is misleading to me since Insert > Section is not bound to
pages. But it might be interesting when it comes to page styles and you want to
count the pages in landscape only, for example. Do you have a use case which
makes such a feature relevant for a larger audience? And I wonder if the number
is needed as a variable field in the document or if enhancing the statistics
makes sense. And last but not least I don't see a difference to bug 71583. Can
we make this a duplicate?
