That is a very special corner case and there is easy workarounds :
- type ctrl+Z when the first letter of the word is capitalized; that works for
any autocorrection that you do not want.
- insert a line with an blank character and without a period at its end before
the line starting with dd. Indeed the capitalization of the first character is
activated only if the new line follows a period that marks the end of the
previous paragraph.
For the change you propose, the gain is not worth the effort. So closing as
WontFix.
