The current 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ has the same problem.

It is possible to make it somewhat usable by choosing the dark theme (that is,
if you even manage to find the Options menu). This will fix the issue with the
white-on-white menu bar. However, it does not fix the sidebar issue.
