[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 139134] in calc, often used to compare results, it would be nice to be able to "insert/attach" a file in a cell, that could be saved to disk or opened.

Not sure if I understand what you want to do, but did you try hyperlink()
function ?

Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once
requested information has been provided.
