Under Ubuntu with vclplugin GTK3, I have shortcuts for spelling suggestions. I
need only to hit Alt key to see the shortcuts which appear as an underlined
character in each suggestion.

I see a difficulty with your proposition: it is not easy to use numeric
shortcuts when you do not have a physical numeric keypad.

What is your OS and did you check if these shortcuts are visible on your
system?

Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once
requested information has been provided.
