Steps to Reproduce:
1. select some text with mouse or keyboard
2. open command popup (shift + esc)
3. type in something, select command (e.g. italic)
4. press ENTER/RETURN to confirm command choice

Actual Results:
command is executed and the selected text is deleted

Expected Results:
command is executed without deleting the selected text


Reproducible: Always
