It is true, also in the oldest versions,
"actually in LO (7.1.5.2) the range is only modified if it is completely moved"
but  I disagree because we have two behavior for the same action, and this easy
carry a mistake.
My Attachment extend your file, and shows that when one user need some space in
a range, the natural e simplest action to do is to keep the cells in the first
row and move them up.
In the example the first cell E20 Follow the movement and you see the correct
value, and so you easy think that all other  formulas follow the movement, but
G20 NOT Follows the movement and you don't see that, easy carry a mistake.
Indeed if you insert rows all is ok.
Also in excel the range movement the formulas change and follow the movement.
This "strange" behavior is not a good idea, for me is an error in the
development of Calc.
