Bug ID: 144119
Summary: Copying numbered list item into new paragraph
continues numeration from the end
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: david.cortes.rivera at gmail.com
Steps to reproduce:
- Write several paragraphs.
- Under the first paragraph, start writing a numbered list with many items.
- Copy the first item (number 1) alongside the line that comes before it, and
paste it at the end of the document (assuming there are some paragraphs
inbetween the source and where it will be pasted).
Expected behavior:
The pasted text should restart the numeration of the items at 1 in the new
numbered list.
Actual behavior:
The numeration continues from the last number of the series of items from where
it was copied - e.g. if there were 3 items, will be pasted with number 4.
