Additional information:

1. Did not matter what "language" was set for input.
2. Does not work if "Use replacement table" is disabled in AutoCorrect Options
3. -> does not appear in replacement table in Replace (afaict)
4. deleted --> from Replace table, but -> still works.

Why does -> get converted to →  even though it does not appear in the table in
Replace tab, but "Use replacement table" and "While Typing" has to be enabled
for it to work?
