I too am seeing this behavior on my wife's machine. It only seems to happen
with the navigation pane, but it is consistently reproducible. Resizing the
sidebar with one of the other panes selected is a little sluggish, but it does
not freeze. She did not have this problem on 7.0. She is running Manjaro KDE
(Surface-Linux Kernel 5.10) on a Surface Pro 6 with a Intel® UHD Graphics 620
and open source video drivers.)

I am running Manjaro KDE (Kernel 5.10.13) on a Lenovo with an Intel UHD
Graphics 630 using proprietary drivers (linux510-nvidia 460.39-7) and I am NOT
seeing this problem at all.
