--- Comment #82 from b. <newbie-02 at gmx.de> ---
hurray ... !!!
this sounds as if after 10 years less 13 days (35499 is the oldest related bug
i noted yet) and 61 bugs (i noted yet) someone spoke who knows what he's
talking about,
@jasonkres: pls. mail me your bank account - !in private! - and be sure to get
a 500 bucks price / reward / donation once this problem is solved,
@anydeveloper: do the same and get the same once you are the first to provide a
working solution,
(conditions for developers: the price is paid only once, voluntarily, according
to my decision and under exclusion of legal recourse, the solution must be
comprehensive and prove itself for 3 months, it must be clearly defined and
clearly and comprehensively commented so that it can also be understood by
'half laymen', it must be 'smart' and avoid brutal action as described under
'race conditions'.)
special thing i see in the man (or woman?) who spoke: 'not afraid to dive into
M$ stuff!',
'race condition' sounds as such might lead to actions like users of a SBS with
limited access slots reserving them in the morning and thus blocking others, or
like 'if we don't get a response we just knock more often' and if more users do
that the system breaks down, imho LO shouldn't act that way,
CSMA/CD -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-sense_multiple_access_with_collision_detection
- (in the old days when we did ethernet with antenna cable) was a smart way to
deal with such problems ...?
happy to see hope ... :-)
