            Bug ID: 140579
Summary: It's unclear, how "Continue previous numbering" should
                    work
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: dgp-mail at gmx.de

There are several bugs that show problems with "Continue previous numbering"
option (bug 36220, 122027, 117233, 139912). For me it is very difficult to
consider, what is a bug / not a bug, because there is no documentation about
that command in LO Help.

So what is needed is:
a) Design-Team should decide, how the command should work (for example: Should
selection of "Continue previous numbering" deselect "Restart numbering"
(related to bug 139912)? Should selection of "Continue previous numbering" be
valid only for selected pargraph or the whole list (related to bug 36220)
b) Add documentation
c) Review bug reports.
