Suppose you:

1. Open the Properties sidebar.
2. Select the content area on the current slide.
3. Press the "Increase Font Size" button

the font size increases, but the selection is lost. But that's not all - with
the selection lost, the side-bar switches to Slide Layout, so if you
intuitively try continue to press the size-increase button a few more times -
you're actually making slide layout changes.

Frustrating!

Using:

Version: 7.1.0.3 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US

but I don't believe this is a new issue.
