Bug ID: 139682
Summary: It won't install.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Installation
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: niceneasy at pcisys.net
Description:
I downloaded the install file from the LibreOffice site on 15 Jan 21.
Installation stops with this error message:
"error 1335. This cabinet file libreoffice1.cab required for this installation
is corrupt and can not be used."
I downloaded again but from a second computer, moved the file to the first
computer and get the same result.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow the install instructions.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Installation stops at about midway.
Expected Results:
The software should install with no issues.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
The error message identifies a LibreOffice file, so I doubt my hardware is
causing the problem.
